What a way to start blogging. I was really planning to start writing blogs to express what I feel and discuss random things which I find interesting. But I couldn’t be any more contained by the news I just knew from twitter that I really wanted to write about (though I’m really not a good writer, seriously)

I love animals – well not all of them. However, relentlessly killing innocent animal and reliving animal cruelty every year is too hard to accept. Canada is having their annual slaughter of thousands of baby harp seals, and they have started already. I really don’t know what their grounds for doing such act are, but I can only imagine how could they be so heartless – oh and I’m not this singing this one out. I have little knowledge on Canada nevertheless I’m starting to hate the country. Yes, yes, I’m trying to generalize things and this may only be a group of people doing this but it’s disappointing that the government still don’t have a say on this hence no action is done.

What happened after I thought of researching more about the seal slaughter was too depressing to think about. After typing ‘annual slaughter’ in Google, auto-suggestions came out and first on the list was ‘annual slaughter of dolphins in taiji japan’ My face was like the Y!M emoticon: “:O” after reading it. Being a super fan of dolphins, I was shocked to know that Japan does the same thing every year only that dolphins are their prey.  

Here are pictures of the sea turned read after the blood of the dolphins mixed with the sea water. It’s like the bible character casting down God’s judgement (sorry forgot his name)

                It’s breaks my heart to see the animals die helplessly. I really pray that this will end as soon as possible.
